Is the fabric natural & biodegradable? What is the impact on the environment?
Bamboo is a naturally available, self-replenishing grass that grows up to 3 feet per day without harmful pesticides and requires 70% less water than cotton. Merino wool is also a naturally available resource and the process of turning it into fabric is done sustainably with little to no environmental impact. Bamboo and Merino wool are biodegradable and in normal commercial composting conditions, they will biodegrade and return to the earth within 12 months.
